Sprout with the Sproutman At Cost

Today we've got 10 new Certified Organic Sprouting Seeds for you 'At-Cost'.
These Sprouting Seeds are all actually from the Sproutman company, which was created by the Sproutman himself, Steve Meyerowitz. The Sproutman was so healthy, and he was on a mission to share his message about sprouting.
Unfortunately, he was killed in a car accident in 2015. I remember it clearly, a hole was ripped into the community. More than a thousand people showed up at the Sproutman's funeral.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Sproutman at a trade show once, 14 years ago, 6 years before his death. I actually did a great 10 minute video with him at the Youtube link a bit further below.
As you will see in this video, he was extremely healthy. His skin looks incredible.
I just watched this video with him again right now, and I am so inspired to try introducing sprouts into my diet again. The one thing that I miss the most in my diet is lettuce. I have tried over and over again, and I just can't eat it without extreme digestive discomfort due to the surgery I had. I believe that maybe one day I can build up the tolerance, and now I am thinking that I might be able to start with sprouts.
Before I just watched this video a minute ago, I remembered one key thing that he told me in this video.
He explained to me how delicate sprouts were and how easy they are to digest. In fact, in this video he stated that many people break a fast on things like Watermelon, because of how it's 90% water, and how delicate it is. However, he would rather see a person break a fast on things like Alfalfa Sprouts, or Broccoli Sprouts, because you get the same ease of digestion, but you don't have the sugar factor. Furthermore, you are getting nutrition in a far different way compared to a fruit.
Oh my gosh, I've got to try these sprouts again. They can be my ticket to eating salads again.
In fact, in this video he said that he makes a full salad out of sprouts with buckwheat greens, sunflower greens, radish sprouts, cabbage sprouts, broccoli sprouts, kale sprouts, and pea shoots. He mixes all of these different greens together, and then he just makes a tahini dressing with lemon and tamari. This little salad gets him really full. Sometimes he adds bean sprouts and seaweeds too. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Then to bring it all home he explained that if you are a raw person or into living foods, you've got to grow your own food. The nutrition in these baby sprouts are tremendous compared to the vegetables that they turn into. For example, the food value that you get from a radish sprout, which you can grow in 5 days has 391 IU's of Vitamin A. However, if you plant the same radish seedling in your back yard, and wait three months, it only has 10 IU's of Vitamin A. So that's like 1 to 39 the Vitamin A value.
One more nutritional example that he gave was that a baby 2 inch tall green Broccoli Sprout, has 50 to 100x's more the glucosinolate value (the anti-cancer enzyme) compared to the mature broccoli that is four months old. Even with the mature broccoli being Organic, it doesn't matter, the nutritional value of the organic sprouts are way off the charts comparatively speaking. The nutrition is super concentrated in these organic sprouts.
So I am super excited. Sprouts are so delicate on the digestive system, taste great, and are loaded with crazy super amounts of nutrition.
In addition to all of these new sprouting seeds, I also brought back our very high quality Nut Milk/Sprouting Bags that are hand sewn. I have had many requests to get these bags back over the years. Normally $9.95, we have them for $7.95 each when you get a 3-pack.
To use these bags as a sprouting bag is so simple. Soak the sprouting seeds in a bowl of purified water for 12 - 24 hours. Next, dump the bowl of sprouting seeds and water into the nut milk bag and rinse the seeds with fresh water. Then drain that water from the bag. You can then place the nut milk bag, which contains the moist seeds, in a jar or bowl. After that, rinse the sprouting seeds within the nut milk bag with water 3 - 5 times a day keeping them moist. After 2-3 days, you will have some beautiful sprouts.
Once you have your beautiful sprouts, you can put them in a nori sheet, coconut wrap, a salad, or just munch on them. You'll get instant energy, lots of protein, it will help your digestion, clear up your skin, and it will make you feel youthful.
