Our Black Maca, Red Maca, Yellow Maca, and Gelatinized Maca are back. Every single one of these Maca's are 'At-Cost' for literally only $13.95 each when you get a 3-pack. What an incredible deal!
All of our Macas are the very top premium grade and are the best of the best. The Black, Red, and Yellow Macas that are available, are all in their Raw Form. Our Gelatinized Maca, which is different than the Raw, contains all three colors of Maca just as they are grown in the field. Therefore, each bag of Gelatinized Maca contains about 8% Black Gelatinized Maca, 12% Red Gelatinized Maca, and 80% Yellow Gelatinized Maca.
Maca is an incredible Superfood, which enhances our smoothies, desserts, and meals in both nutritional potency and flavor. I love the flavor that Maca adds, because it's almost like a malty taste. I remember eating Raw Maca Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. It just adds to that malty part of that Peanut Butter Taste.
Halvah! It reminds me of halvah, the flavor that it adds, lol. I was having a hard time explaining it. It goes really good together with a sweet taste.
Not only does it make the taste of our creations better and more exquisite, but it also provides so many medicinal benefits.
It’s just that kind of Superfood that makes you feel better, especially women in menopause.
At the study here, Gelatinized Maca was administered to premenopausal women. It reduced the night sweats and hot flashes, increased and balanced out hormone levels, and increased estrogen which plays a critical role in bone health, to where bone density markers went up. It also alleviated such menopausal symptoms as nervousness, mood swings, interrupted sleep pattern, fatigue, stress, headaches, depression, and decreased libido observed in early-postmenopausal women.
The study also states that for Gelatinized Maca to exhibit its significant hormone-balancing and therapeutic effect, it was essential to use it continuously during two consecutive months. Therefore, don't give up on it after a month.
Many women swear by Maca in terms of balancing their hormones like this. The study was with Gelatinized Maca, but many testimonials come from women who took Raw Maca. Gelatinized Maca is not raw and more of an extract. They generally use extracts in clinical studies due to increased potency. Gelatinized Maca would be really good if you have digestive issues since all the fiber and dead space is removed. You may want to test both the Raw and Gelatinized at different times to see which one works better for you.
So Maca, would be ideal to put into our Sunflower Lecithin Tiger Nut Milk lol. I think it would add to the Synergistic effect even more, which is absolutely crazy. It goes right in there with the benefits that we are looking for when taking that drink. It may also provide that really good malty taste to that drink. You don’t need much Maca at all. Maybe a teaspoon or two.
One study here of 45 women who experienced antidepressant-induced sexual dysfunction also found that taking 3,000 milligrams of maca root per day for 12 weeks significantly improved sexual function and libido compared with a placebo.
A recent study here, also showed that maca extract might be able to reduce fatigue in young adult women. At the study here, a significant decrease in diastolic blood pressure and depression were apparent after Maca treatment in Chinese postmenopausal women.
See, Maca fits right in there with our mood/brain/libido boosting Tiger Nut Lecithin Nut Milk Drink lol. If you missed the details on this special Tiger Nut Lecithin Drink, you'll have to read two pretty long mind blowing articles here and here,.
Let’s move on to men now. As you will see, it’s good for both sexes to add our Maca’s into the Tiger Nut Milk Drink.
The 2020 study here found that taking 2 grams of maca per day for 12 weeks significantly improved semen concentration in men compared with a placebo treatment. So semen volume improved significantly, but sperm motility didn't. However, with Black Maca there have been several significant independent studies done on how black colored roots of maca affect both sperm production and sperm motility in rats better than all the other colors of maca.
Let's talk about the difference between the Maca colors here for a minute.
All colors of Maca contain medicinal elements called secondary metabolites. The different colors of Maca, have different secondary metobolites within them. Therefore, each color has the potential to provide different medicinal benefits. Black Maca is the most rare (8% of all Maca) and the most sought after. At the study here, the lipids and polysaccharides of Black Maca showed higher antioxidant effect than Red and Yellow Maca. Red Maca was less than 10% behind Black and Yellow about 25%. In other studies, it shares that Red Maca has higher nutrient and glucosinolates compared to the other Macas.
Women usually stick with the Yellow Maca, because of what it does in order to balance their hormones, plus they used yellow in the menopausal study above. Men tend to get the Black Maca, because it presented the greatest effect on spermatogenesis when compared with Yellow and Red Maca, as seen at the study here. Black Maca also improved memory and concentration skills in laboratory mice. Red Maca, but neither Yellow nor Black Maca, significantly reduced prostate size in rats at the study here. There were two other similar studies done on Red Maca with rats and their prostates with similar findings.
We can get into the nitty gritty of this stuff all day long, but I think we've got the most important stuff covered here.
All of the Macas that we are offering today is a great add-on to our Sunflower Lecithin Tiger Nut Milk Drink. It's also great in smoothies, desserts, and drinks. It has the potential to balance your hormones, boost your libido, help with our bones, improve our mood and depression symptoms, and give you overall better strength. You don't need much, just a teaspoon or so in that drink lol. I'm all about it.
We have every single one of our Maca Powders, which are the best of the best, 'At-Cost' for only $13.95 each when you get a 3-pack.
