I Called Bragg’s, It’s Worse than I thought

Published: Tue, 10/24/23

Hey Everyone!

What a Roller Coaster of a ride I just went on.

I had one customer, who I deeply care about, really upset with me about the Newsletter that I sent out about the Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar. She was certain that there was no change after 20 years of drinking it.

However, at that point I was absolutely certain of what I shared. Some really high respectable people in the health sector validated it to me, along with hundreds of customers and friends on Social Media. Furthermore, I saw the changes with my own two eyes.

The following day, many people started to write in saying that they contacted the company directly. They told me all sorts of different things. Some people said that the only reason that the Apple Cider Vinegar changed was due to the color of the Apples. Others said that Katy Perry doesn’t own the company, while others said that she did. One man went as far to tell me that they dilute it with city tap water.

Some of these claims were just outlandish and contradictory. At this point, so much chaos was happening that I just called the Bragg’s company directly on my own. I talked to the perfect woman there. She was extremely passionate about their products and spent a good amount of time with me explaining every last detail of every single one of my questions.

She was so passionate, concerned, and caring that I believed every last word that she said to me. I wasn’t just speaking to some regular customer service rep who knows nothing about their products. She was a seasoned veteran and knew every last detail.

It turns out that some of the information that I shared was inocorrect and some was true. However, it lead me into asking additional questions. What I uncovered is far worse than what I had originally shared.

It actually all happened over three phone calls, because when I got off the phone with her the first time, my brain started running around in circles like crazy, and I had to keep calling her back in order to get more questions answered.

In the first phone call, she verified that Katy Perry owns 5% of the company, but doesn’t have a hand in the day to day operations. She then told me that the Apple Cider Vinegar is exactly the same as it has always been. There is only a color difference, because sometimes they use different colored apples, and the color of those apples make it lighter.

Due to her passion and caring behavior, I believed her 100%.

My heart dropped, I got off of the phone with her, and I found myself in a very ugly situation.

At that moment, my life went into absolute torment. I have thousands of people who trust me and my word, and I accidentally made a mistake here. I truly 100% believed everything that I said was true. Here I was now, creating in my head, my apology letter to you guys. If I was wrong, then I was wrong, and I am not the type of person who would be willing to just brush a false rumor like this under the table. I was just going share my true intent and heart when I wrote you and hoped for understanding from you guys.

Now that I look back on it, I feel that these rumors were meant to happen. What I uncovered about their Apple Cider Vinegar makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.

Before I share this information, I do need to apologize to every single one of you for sharing information, which I was certain was true, but didn’t 100% validate it with the actual company first. The next thing that I am about to share with you is no excuse for my actions. Many of you trust me 100% and a foolish mistake like this could cost me everything, which is your trust. I am so sorry about this, please forgive me, and I will never spread information again without getting it 100% verified. If I can’t get it 100% verified, then I will state that.

So here I was in absolute torment, just hoping that everyone would understand my position. Then I remembered something that the woman at Bragg’s stated on the phone that sparked something in my brain. She said in one of her sentences, “when it is diluted”.

Then I thought to myself, “wait a moment here.” What I was actually sharing with everyone was about the dilution of the Apple Cider Vinegar. Therefore, I called her back asking about this dilution that occurs.

She explained to me that they have to dilute all of their Apple Cider Vinegar in order to bring it down to 5% acidity. For example, if the acidity is 6%, then they have to dilute it back down to 5% with water.

It made perfectly good sense to me, and I hung up.

As I went back down into complete torment again, I remembered the man who said that the Bragg’s people told him on the phone, that they use the California City tap water in order to dilute the product.

I didn’t think to ask her this, because I was certain that no company would be so foolish to put actual tap water into their product. At first I thought he was just spreading more false rumors and I was done.

However, I called her back and I asked her what kind of water do you guys use to dilute the Apple Cider Vinegar with? She confidently said, “Potable Drinking Water”.

I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, and I didn’t know what Potable Drinking Water actually was. Therefore, I straight out asked her if Potable Drinking Water is tap water. A semi-long pause happened, there was nothing else that she could say at this point. The next reluctant words out of her mouth were, “Y-Yes.”

So then I asked her my last question.

Therefore, you guys use the California City Tap Water in order to dilute your Apple Cider Vinegar.

She said, “Yes.”

At this point I was in shock. I wished that the previous rumors that I had shared were 100% true versus this verified fact straight from the horse’s mouth. I would rather drink a heavily diluted Apple Cider Vinegar, rather than an Apple Cider Vinegar that is properly diluted with the California City Tap Water. At this point I knew that all of this was meant to happen, as this definitely needed to be revealed to all.

Well, I mean, Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, did say during the pandemic, that all of the tap water in California was safe to drink. It was during the crazy toilet paper shortage, and he was just trying to calm down the fears of the people of California.

Therefore, if the California tap water doesn’t bother you, it should be completely fine. They did say that the formula hasn’t changed, so I just assume that they’ve obviously been using Tap Water for all of these years. Isn’t their fluoride in the California tap water?

I’m personally from California, and I was living in California at the time of the toilet paper crisis. I would not touch that drinking water with a Covid 6-foot pole! I was upset by the fact that I had to wash my vegetables in it, and had to deal with the remains of the tap water that stays on my vegetables. Especially if you are washing your vegetables before juicing or blending them. That is the absolute worst. I seriously can’t stand washing vegetables for this reason.

I was going to share all of this information above without thinking twice, because I was certain that no other company on the planet would be foolish enough to pour tap water directly into their product. However, I learned my lesson this time around, and I contacted Dynamic Health, the company that makes our Apple Cider Vinegar. They wrote back to me and told me that they use Reverse Osmosis purified drinking water in order to dilute it to 5%.

Please explain to me, why on earth the Bragg’s company would use California City Tap Water?

It makes no logical sense. It’s like they don’t think straight. Their Nutritional Yeast tastes like pure chemicals, which I assumed is from the Synthetic B Vitamins that they add to it.

After you try our Unfortified Nutritional Yeast, which is an absolute delight to eat, and then go back to their Nutritional Yeast, you will experience this nasty chemical taste that I am talking about. Our Unfortified Nutritional Yeast is a natural beige color with a wonderful natural cheesy-like flavor. The Bragg’s Nutritional Yeast is dark yellow and I almost spit it out due to the chemical taste in a video where I was comparing the two.

Now I’m all riled up here and I better stop now.

You know what, our Nutritional Yeast is now on special ‘At-Cost’ alongside our Apple Cider Vinegar, which is literally below our cost until the end of the month for only $2.95 a bottle when you get a 3-pack. Our Nutritional Yeast is normally $13.95. When you get a 3-pack, you get each bag for only $8.79 each. There is only 7 days left to get in on all of this months ‘At-Cost’ specials.
