Brown Seaweed extract is one of those particular products that I like to offer 'At-Cost' every six months or so. I personally classify it as one of the top longevity superfoods in the world.
We have heard over and over again in older books and all across the internet that seaweed is a very important key form of nutrition. It's also known that seaweed plays a huge factor in longevity, and is one of the main reasons always cited to why the people in Japan live the longest.
The Japanese are amongst the longest-lived people in the world, and scientists believe that one of the main reasons is due to their consumption of seaweed. I always thought it was due to all of the minerals that they were getting from the seaweed. Laminaria Kelp is soaked in spring water for 4 hours where it releases its water-soluble polysaccharides. The contents are then turned into a paste and are pressed through a tight mesh net similar to cheesecloth. What comes out after the pressing is pretty much the juice of kelp, a heavy gel that is kept for processing into a dry form.
When you chew down on it, there is no rough fiber. It is like chewing down on an extremely mineral dense dried gel. There is a solidity to it, but at the same time it just melts when your teeth chew down on it. It’s like chewing on a gel, and the sensation is so satisfying to me and my jaw lol.
This is the ideal product for me and many others with sensitive digestive systems, because we can't handle the rough fiber found in regular seaweed. However, it's also the ideal product for practically everyone, because the bioavailability of this Brown Seaweed Extract goes way beyond any other seaweed or seaweed product available. You would just need 1/4 teaspoon in order to take the typical 4-6 gram serving size often used in the Japanese Diet. In fact, 1/4 teaspoon goes way beyond that 4-6 grams of seaweed used in all of these clinical studies. This 2oz bag is so dense and concentrated, that it may last you a very long time.
I have a copy of the Certificate of Analysis (COA) of the product. 11% of the product is literally Fucoidans. Do you realize how much Fucoidans that is? For example, an orange is known for its Vitamin C content. In 100 grams of Fucoidan, 11 grams or 11% of it are Fucoidans. In 100 grams of an orange, you get only .06 grams or under 2/3 of 1% of Vitamin C. The amount of Fucoidans in our BSE is just mind-blowing and goes way beyond any other seaweed, food, or seaweed product out there. It's literally like taking a therapeutic dose of Seaweed, which digests in an instant.
Also on the COA it shows that 50% of the product is made up of Alginates. Alginates are a natural absorbent of radioactive elements, heavy metals, and free radicals. It has the unique ability of binding heavy metals and radioactive elements to its own molecules. Since Alginate cannot be broken down by bile or saliva and be absorbed by the body, it is secreted from the body together with the heavy metals and radioactive substances. In addition to that, if you are or were a smoker, it will help detox you from the strontium and cadmium.
Furthermore, it tastes really good! It is such a pleasure to eat straight or even on my meals, and I get excited to eat it every single time. Plus I love the energy buzz that it gives me.
