The other day, I had a customer write in and say, “I can’t believe that Matt is not the same man that he used to be”.
Don’t get me wrong, they had very nice intentions, but I’m a big sensitive cry baby, as many of you probably know.
I wrote them back and said yeah! I’m a better man now!
My story is one of the most magical stories there is. Now that I have Jesus in it, unlike before, it’s a completely different ball game. I’m not going to rant right now!
I can understand where they are coming from though as it looks like I’ve been a cripple on and off for ages now. If they can freaking open their eyes, they would see that this is still the same “Alternative Natural” ol’ me acting like a complete Idiot as I take the natural approach and try to not be on meds anymore. I have almost killed myself multiple times. What more do you need?
I don’t know what they are holding onto about this “Old Matt” version, but when it comes to my diet, this customers wish may have actually come true on some level. Let me explain what happened to me.
It was 8am in the morning on the day that I was planning on going to the ER. They don’t feed you in the ER so I just fasted the entire day. I was sitting on the couch that morning, and I ended up working and fasting until 4pm. I couldn’t believe how late it was, and I just got up and went to the ER.
I couldn’t believe it. I had more energy than normal from fasting. It was like I was engaging in my old principles. This experience stuck in my head.
You guys, I have been utterly brainwashed being told that I am completely malnourished and I’m not getting enough food. So I always ate as much as I could to the point of not being able to move for 5-6 hours on the couch until my food was completely digested. Keep in mind though that the types of meals that food coma’d me like this, is still a much smaller meal than what most people would typically eat.
Eating like this and being stuck for five hours on the couch has been my life for ages due to all this. I would get my walks in before the meal and do things after the meal, but I always lost that 5 hour window.
I’ve told you guys a million times that I was on a Raw Foods Diet for almost 25 years. When you do something like this, it does something to you on a sensitivity level. Dr. Fred Bisci tried to explain this to me over and over again, and I’ve conveyed it to you guys many times. This is why that amount of food comas me.
So what I’ve been stuffing myself with for my first meal was:
5 egg yolks
2-3 slices of Swiss cheese
Fruit mixed in Greek Yogurt
Raw milk
Then at night, I would eat 6-8oz of fish.
However, that 6-8oz started decreasing. My desire for fish kept going down and down, and then I just didn’t want it anymore.
The problem with that was I was scared as hell to stop eating fish based on all of the brain washing of needing protein and being so malnourished..
So recently, one day for breakfast, I only ate a bunch of fruit, in greek yogurt and I drank raw milk. I skipped the eggs and cheese.
In the past when I was raw, I only ate two meals a day. My first meal was always either a mono meal of fruit, or something like blueberries mixed with Almond Butter. That’s all I ever ate in the morning when I was Raw, and that’s what my body has been used to for those 25 years.
Anyhow, a few days ago, I started to only eat my fruit meal with yogurt and raw milk in the morning. It was much closer to what I used to eat in the old days. I just switched the Almond Butter out with the raw greek Yogurt.
Oh my gosh, my energy didn’t drop, and this is the type of meal that I’ve always been used to in my Raw days. The entire day was mine instead of being food coma’d and not able to move.
In the morning I drink a bunch of Orange juice, and grapefruit juice. After that I drink a bunch of carrot juice with this new product that is coming soon.
This first fruit and yogurt meal now digests much faster than my previous first meal. After it digests, I drink a more carrot juice.
What’s crazy is the amount of calories and protein that I get from all this, is a crazy amount. I don’t need to worry about that anymore.
So at night, I decided to be brave and eliminate fish from my diet, which I had no desire to eat anymore. The thought of eating fish started to make me cringe.
So, what I’m eating instead of the fish, is an omelette composed of 5 egg yolks, 3 slices of raw Swiss cheese, and a cut up baked onion from the 400 degree oven that’s been baked for an hour. I refuse to take the time to caramelize onions. This oven method is way easier and healthier. It totally works for me. It’s only one ingredient, baked onions. I also drink Raw Milk with this meal.
I just love that meal. I then sometimes eat a little bit of Amish Grass Fed Raw Butter afterwards. Not stuffing myself took a little bit of getting used to,, but I don’t crash anymore. My entire day is free for me to enjoy now and get around.
One of the biggest benefits that I have experienced from eating this way, is that my sleep is way better now. I wake up less times at night. I couldn’t believe it. That is very healing for me in itself.
So, in my last blood test, my calcium levels were 7.6, and the normal low range is 8.6. This freaked me out, because I have Osteoporosis. I thought the Raw Milk would throw me over the edge but it didn’t.
However, Dr. Fred Bisci told me that raw foodists blood levels usually run low. This calcium level was before I started eating less. I wouldn’t be surprised if it just pops up now from eating less.
Are my fish eating days over?
I don’t know what is to come, but as of now, yes. However, if my kids want to go get sushi or something, I might have a cheat day. I won’t eat the rice, but I’d figure something out.
Dr. Norman Walker didn’t eat any fish or animal flesh and lived to be 100 years old. He was 100% Raw but also included egg yolks and some Swiss cheese in his diet.
That is always what I have wanted to eat in my heart, and I replaced the fish with these foods, I also made my first meal a fruit dairy meal. If you compare that to what I ate in Raw Days, I simply just replaced the almond butter covering the blueberries with greek yogurt covering the blueberries instead. I use Raw Dairy, because it’s very gentle on my intestines. I’ve tried Almond Butter twice, and it ripped me apart both times.
Coming home from the ER/Hospital was horrible. I had so many chemicals in me and the detox sucked.
However, I’m doing way better now. I saw my Hematologist and he just scored me 3 more iron infusions for the next three weeks. He was hoping that it could maybe help keep my Hemoglobin levels up from the hemoglobin boost that I got in the hospital, until the Humira kicks in.
Speaking of the Humira. This week I have a very important test to take. We are going to see if my body has produced any antibodies to the Humira from quitting it and restarting it again. If my body did build antibodies, I have to start all over on another drug. I don’t want another cycle of waiting and suffering, which is a many month process. I hope this test goes well.
Yes, I have way more energy now from eating my ideal diet, but if you are low in Hemoglobin, it doesn’t matter how good your diet is.
We’ll see where it goes from here. Maybe I’ll heal more from eating this way, and watch magic happen. It feels like it. Again, I’m getting much better sleep. I can’t believe it. I think the combination of the meds, taking care of my iron level when needed, and eating my ideal diet may bring me right back to my old self, that this customer Oh So wanted. (Major eye rolling). Again, as much as I want to, I’m not going to rant here.
