Hey Everyone! Our Guarana is a very potent plant medicine. It creates focus unlike anything you have ever taken before.
Firstly, Guarana Seeds may contain four to six times more caffeine than coffee beans. However, you don’t need that much, because it is the plant’s bioactive compounds that it contains, in addition to the caffeine, which takes this stimulatory experience to a brand new level. In addition to caffeine, it is loaded with a wide array of
antioxidants, some of which have a stimulating effect, including theophylline, xanthines, and theobromine. However, Guarana is also loaded with more antioxidants, including tannins, saponins, methylxanthines, flavonoids, epicatechins, and catechins.
It’s this combination of bioactive plant compounds along with the caffeine, which produces this mind blowing effect.
Let me share a couple of testimonials.
A customer writes:
“Thank you for the email you sent
about Guarana. I was so intrigued and realized I needed to add it to my regimen. So, I ordered your Guarana and the Quinton which I love, and have been taking it for about a week now. It has made a huge difference in my ability to focus and get things done and to remember the pieces I am learning on the piano for my piano lessons. :-) Very happy with the Guarana...it's a winner!”
The effect is so mind blowing, that for some people, they may be able to use it as a natural
replacement to psych drugs.
Here is a testimonial from Angela's friend who said that it works as well as Adderall.
She explains to me:
“Your Guarana reminds me of how Adderall would feel without all of the negative side effects like anxiety. I think it’s a more powerful feeling than coffee is. It would almost be like I took an Adderall, but Adderall made me nuts, especially coming off of Adderall. It would give me terrible anxiety, and make me irritated, and
jittery.
The Guarana just gives me all of the motivation that I need in order to categorize things in my mind, like what I need to do, and it gives me the action to move to do it. For example, when I wake up in the morning, sometimes I’m kind of in a slump, like a depression, and I feel trapped and stuck. All of the things that I have to do are just swirling around, and I’m just frozen not really moving. So when I took the Guarana, pretty immediately I feel like I can just go, ok,
let me start, and I do one thing, and another, and another, and another, and it gives me that motivation or drive to just put myself into action.
My husband just tried a little bit and that’s all he needs. He doesn’t feel the crash like we do with coffee or Adderall. There is just a smooth tapering off like you all of a sudden realize. I don’t even know how long it lasts. We are not aware of a crash, but when we drink coffee we are aware of the crash. We are usually super aware of
a crash with anything. The effects of coffee are not really worth it to us anymore. With the Guarana, it just tapers off, I just realize I don’t feel it anymore. There is no definite point where I am crashing.
If I take too much of the Guarana, I do get a little jittery, not nearly as bad as Adderall. However, I can run up a mountain lol. The taste is pretty bad. I mix it in orange juice, and I can't taste it at all. Sometimes I mix it with maple syrup and water so it's like a
shot.”
The reason that she doesn’t feel a crash is because the caffeine from Guarana doesn't release the moment it hits a person's stomach. The tannins in Guarana are believed to cause the caffeine to release slower than in coffee. The effect of this is much more satisfying and skips the abrupt burst of energy and the associated crash of coffee. Coffee’s caffeine is like an injection of caffeine, immediately releasing into your bloodstream, causing a massive spike in energy, followed
by a crash 2-4 hours later. Whereas Guarana’s caffeine is like an IV-drip, slowly dripping caffeine into your bloodstream, providing sustained, stable energy throughout the day, with no crash. However, on top of that you are getting all of these psychoactive plant compounds, which is what truly takes this experience to even another level. Therefore, you don’t need that much. In fact, in the study here, they looked at the effects of different doses of Guarana on mood and learning. Participants received either no Guarana, 37.5 mg, 75 mg, 150 mg or 300 mg. People who received either 37.5 mg or 75 mg of Guarana achieved the highest test scores. Since low doses of Guarana provide low doses of caffeine, it’s believed that other compounds in Guarana aside from caffeine may be partially responsible.
Other experiments have shown that
Guarana improves cognitive performance under harsh testing conditions where users were subjected to a series of challenging mental tasks. Guarana was much more effective than placebo and caffeine alone as the caffeine is considered a separate influence.
With the additional medicinal plant compounds contained within the Guarana, the experience not only lasts longer, but it is more heightened than coffee. It's plant medicine.
To give you a picture of what the plant looks like
before the seeds are processed into a powder, see the image below:
It just looks like it's going to give you a mind altering experience lol.
The key is the smoothness of it all. You won’t even realize that you came down from it after a good amount of time. What you do realize is that the effect simply stopped. I could sense that Angela's friend felt guilty taking it, because something that good just doesn’t feel like it should be allowed. Yet, it is no
more harmful than coffee is. In fact, there are many clinical studies showing its health benefits due to all of the Medicinal plant compounds that Guarana contains.
For example, Guarana contains compounds that fight oxidative stress, a major risk factor for age-related eye disorders like macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma. In the study here, they found
that people who consumed Guarana regularly had better self-reported vision than people who consumed it sparingly or not at all. In that same study, scientists performed test-tube experiments to discover if Guarana could protect eye cells against compounds that create oxidative stress. Guarana significantly reduced the amount of DNA damage and eye cell death, compared to a placebo.
It goes way beyond just helping our eyes. At the study here, adults who consume Guarana may have up to 27% less oxidized LDL than adults of a similar age who don’t eat this fruit.
In the animal and test-tube studies here, here, and here, they suggest that Guarana may protect against DNA damage, suppress cancer cell growth and even trigger cancer cell death. In that last study, in mice, they found that those fed Guarana had 58% fewer cancer cells and nearly a five-fold increase in cancer cell death, compared to mice that did not receive Guarana.
In another test-tube study here here, they found that Guarana suppressed the growth of cancer cells in the colon, as well as stimulated their death.
In the studies here, here, and here, they also show that Guarana can reduce mental fatigue due to cancer treatment, without significant side effects.
Scientists believe that the potential anti-cancer properties of Guarana stem from its content of xanthines, which are compounds that are similar to caffeine and theobromine.
Next, at the animal studies here, and here, they have shown that Guarana can improve memory.
I know many are going to be excited about this next one.
As seen at the study here, Guarana was shown to have an anti-obesogenic effect.
First, Guarana is a rich source of caffeine, which may boost your metabolism by 3–11% over 12 hours. A faster metabolism means your body burns more calories at rest. What’s more, at the test-tube studies here, and here, they have found that Guarana may suppress genes that aid fat cell production and
promote genes that slow it down.
Guarana also contains many compounds that may inhibit or kill harmful bacteria. It’s believed that the combination of caffeine and plant-based compounds like catechins or tannins are responsible for Guarana’s antibacterial effects. At the study here, Guarana was shown to inhibit E. coli and Salmonella.
At the study here, they found that Guarana can suppress the growth of Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans), a bacteria that can cause dental plaques and tooth decay.
Lastly, at the study here, it shows that Guarana protects against testicular damage caused by cadmium exposition, and displays
anti-depressive, anti-fatiguing, and energetic properties. Furthermore, this study cites three different safety studies that have indicated low toxicity with Guarana ingestion.
Although I am not a doctor, If someone is taking a medication for depression, this may be a good natural ‘plant medicine’ alternative. It seemed to help with Angela’s friend’s depressive state, and this last study shows that it displays anti-depressive effects. Please consult with a doctor before making any
changes.
I’d like to press upon you that this is a pretty powerful plant medicine. If caffeine isn’t your thing, then I don’t recommend taking it for its health benefits. However, if caffeine is already your thing, then you might as well take it in order to get a more heightened experience, along with the health benefits that it provides. Another reason you may want to try it, is to see if it can help you in a natural way in order to avoid harmful meds. Lastly, we have it at such a good
price, it might just be good to have in your pantry, if you need this type of altered driven experience from time to time.
