Today, we've got our Certified Organic Ceylon Cinnamon 'At-Cost'.
The good thing about Ceylon Cinnamon is that it's extremely low in Coumarin. The typical Cassia Cinnamon that we are used to has a high amount of Coumarin, which some say can be toxic and irritating to the human body.
Ceylon Cinnamon has between 2-5 ppm of coumarin, where Cassia Cinnamon has 2000-5000 ppm. That’s 1000 times more Coumarin. Our Ceylon Cinnamon has about only 0.001 milligram of Coumarin per teaspoon, whereas Cassia Cinnamon has 1000 times more than that.
Since the Ceylon Cinnamon is extremely low in Coumarin, it doesn't irritate the body. Back in the day, I used to just keep pouring the Ceylon Cinnamon on my breakfast meal, which was shredded apples that were topped with blended coconut meat from the coconuts in Ecuador. As I ate this breakfast meal, I would just pour the Ceylon Cinnamon on top of it all as I ate it. I would then eat all of the areas that had the Ceylon Cinnamon on it. Once I polished that layer off, I would then just add more Ceylon, and continue the process until the meal was completely gone.
To me, for some reason, the Ceylon Cinnamon tasted somewhat sweet like sugar lol. That's why I just kept pouring it on. However, cinnamon is known to only help blood sugar levels. Some people even use it as a remedy for that. It is so good.
Our Ceylon Cinnamon has a mild sweet taste and has a unique aroma. After being dried at low temperatures, it is carefully milled into a fine powder to retain the high nutritional value. This allows for maximum digestion and absorption when consumed. Our Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder is raw, pure, all-natural, and has low levels of coumarin.
Today we have it 'At-Cost' for only $7.95 each when you get a 3-pack and only $8.83 when you get one.
