Hey Everyone!
Firstly, I’ve eliminated fish from my diet for quite some time now.
I have been living on cooked egg yolks, lots of fruit, carrot juice, and lots of raw goat dairy (milk, cheese, cottage cheese, etc.).
I suppose Carnivores will think I’m nuts for removing fish, and Vegans will be somewhat happy, because no animals are hurt from this diet, albeit it’s not
Vegan.
I suppose my diet is a good median in between the two dietary camps.
What are the nitty gritty details of my diet?
My lunch gets a little messy, because I make an egg yolk tortilla looking omelette. After my tortilla looking omelet is cooked and on my plate, I then put raw goat cottage cheese or cream cheese on one end. I then put a cut up mango, persimmons, or cherries in the cottage or cream cheese. I then
roll it up like a tortilla and chow down. My hands get a little bit messy, but it’s darn good to me. During this meal I’ll drink a quarter to a half gallon of raw goats milk, lol. I know that’s a lot.
Probably the worst part of my diet is that after I eat this rolled up omelette, I will take an Oikos Pro Yogurt or two, put Celtic Sea Salt on top, and mix in a bunch of organic blueberries. It’s not raw and it has natural flavoring
in there, which is what I get crap for. However, I eat it for the protein. I get so much protein from everything else that I can probably give that up. However, I’m not ready to yet, because my protein levels have been pour during these past years. Furthermore, I had a Reclast infusion recently and need as much nutrition as possible. We’ll talk about that in a minute.
For dinner I will cook egg yolks with raw goats cheese. The farmer has so
many different kinds of raw goat cheese, such as Havarti, Jarlsburg Swiss, Provolone, Mozzarella, etc. I’m experimenting with them all. I get the cheese melting a bit and then I throw in the egg yolks. Lastly, I drink a bunch of Raw goat milk with this meal too, lol. I get a week’s worth of Raw Goat’s Milk at a time. On the first couple of days after getting the fresh milk, I have the desire to drink the most. The more fresh the Raw
Goat milk, the more advantageous it is for you.
In the morning before my 2.5 mile walk, I make about 24oz of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, orange juice, or both mixed together. Oranges aren’t really available at my organic market right now so I’m mainly doing grapefruit juice.
I also make one full Dynapro Blender full of carrot juice twice a day before each meal. I’ll drink more than half of each batch fresh. I then stick the rest in the
refrigerator, and I’ll drink it 30 minutes later. The sooner you drink it after you make it the better. That’s why I time it like this.
I feel that the fish may have been too acid for me. However, I did stop Mayonnaise at the same time which is loaded with oil and vinegar. It just felt beneficial to remove all of that.
I tried making my own home made Mayonnaise with our new Apple Cider Vinegar. I
even bought a hand blender and everything. When I saw how much organic olive oil that I needed in order to make such a small amount of Mayonnaise, I almost flipped. Considering how much Mayonnaise I eat in one go, it was a ridiculously high amount of oil. It opened my eyes.
When I was a teenager, I put gobs and gobs of Mayonnaise on my Subway Sandwiches. Bye bye my precious mayo, lol. I’ve been off of it for so long now
that it just turns my stomach now just thinking about it.
Each meal I use about 6 egg yolks. I was at 5 egg yolks, but the egg yolks are pretty small right now. I’m telling ya, egg yolks are where it’s at.
Anyhow, last time I shared with you that I am on a new Biologic Medicine for my autoimmune condition. It’s called Stelara. I was also on a very low dose of 5mg of Prednisone.
I’ve been very nervous to wean off of
Prednisone, because Stelara takes time to kick in, and also Prednisone is a major brat to get off of.
It makes you feel like Superman when you are on it, but drops you to the ground when you come off.
Furthermore, when I used to be on Humira, they wanted to put me on more, because they felt that it wasn’t working too well for me. I’m concerned that I might be the type of person who needs a higher dosage of the Stelara for it to
work. I’ve seen videos of people taking Stelara more frequently than the regular dosage, because they needed more.
I also shared with you that I am exercising to bring my body into a younger state again after being couch-ridden, on and off, for so many years straight.
The progress that I have made in such a short period of time is absolutely unbelievable.
I’m now walking 2.5 miles a day, with one medium hill involved, which I walk up two
times.
I then come home and stretch with advanced stretching moves that I learned from my Yoga days.
My muscles are getting stronger by the day, and it’s amazing what my body can handle and do.
8 days ago, I went down to 2.5mg of Prednisone.
I’ve been scared to do this, because at 2.5mg, I have run into problems in the past. Furthermore, has the Stelara even kicked in yet, and am I even on the correct long term dosage that I
need?
Furthermore, I did a Reclast infusion for my bones recently. Studies show this increases a persons longevity with people in my Osteoporotic condition.
If I end up malnourished again, this could get me into trouble, because the Reclast drug needs the nutrients to fill my bones, or I am screwed.
Whenever I come off of a drug, or if I take a medicine like the Reclast infusion, I get pain in my colon for 2-3 days as my
body adjusts. It’s like my point of weakness and that’s what gets impacted. I’m learning as I go as I get more experience.
I also came off of Tylenol recently from taking it once every night. Same thing, pain in my colon for a couple of days.
If you think these are bad, Prednisone is like the biggest bad boy of all when you come off of it. I was concerned about my colon, and becoming achy in my muscles, joints, and everywhere else when coming off of
it.
So, I went down to 2.5 mgs. There was one day that my body was so crazy soar and achy from this. However, I pushed through it and still exercised. My colon also became a little bit achy. However, I successfully made it over the hump, and I am now steady at 2.5mgs with no problem.
My body is still a little bit achy, but the progress I made through exercising counteracts it completely. I can turn my neck and spine so far
from all my twists that I do, it’s crazy.
On that one day where I was really achy from coming off of Prednisone, all my stretching progress was still there. I could lock in to my stretches with no problem even though I had to swim through the aches.
At the same time of becoming achy, it dropped to like 50 degrees outside. The cold and coming off of prednisone together was just so much fun, lol.
When I start
my daily walk in the cold, I may have a joint pain in my ankle, or somewhere else or another, due to an overstretch or from rebuilding my body, but it goes away as I walk.
I’m also doing squats from sitting on the arm of the couch. My knees aren’t ready to do the squats from the regular sitting position on the regular cushions of the couch quite yet. However, I’ll do like 20 squats on the arm of the couch easily, with no weights
obviously.
My core is also getting stronger from doing the Plank position.
I just get so impressed with my body as I get stronger, and I’m able to do and feel things that I haven’t been able to do in quite sometime.
So next week I am supposed to come off the Prednisone completely as soon as I hit the 2.5mg 2 week mark.
Obviously, I’m a little nervous. I’ll probably have to go through this achy experience again in my body and colon.
There is also the fear that the Stelara hasn’t kicked in yet and I end up back to where I was.
I do have 1mg pills of Prednisone. I may go there next, lol, for a couple of weeks before I come off of it completely.
I’m also gearing up to make a come back. I’m planning on getting back into videos, etc.
However, exercising, running the business, having the kids over, making carrot juice, it just feels like I am always running
after time.
Lastly, we are all going back to Ecuador for two months at the end of January. We leave right after I take my dosage of Stelara, and then come back within 8 weeks before I have to take my next dosage.
I’m doing so well right now, and I think it has to do with the Stelara. We get back two days before my injection. However, it still makes me nervous, because I can’t miss that injection. If something goes wrong with the
weather and airports, I need this medicine or I can build up antibodies like I did with the Humira. Then I’m in big trouble. This injection medicine needs to be refrigerated, and can’t be banged around, so I can’t really take it out to Ecuador.
Also leaving my comfort zone here at home is a rough one, but probably good for me. I’ll be doing videos like crazy by that time so you’ll get to see the world of Vilcabamba, Ecuador once again;
the Land of Longevity.
I don’t want to go, lol. I just can’t miss one moment of my daughters growing up though. It all goes by so fast.
I think I got it all out! I’ll keep you posted as I come off of the Prednisone completely. This part is very important.
