Hey Everyone!
We've got our
last special of the month today, and it's our Sprouted Almonds.
If we ever run out of our Sprouted Almonds, I hear about it from many customers.
One customer just wrote:
Hi ya, Will the sprouted almonds be coming back? Might you have a timeframe? Love them like crazy.
Another customer writes:
"A couple weeks ago when I attempted to order 4 bags of your Sprouted
Almonds, you stated that it would be a couple weeks until they were back in stock. Are they available or are you still waiting for them to be available, or how much longer until they will be available? Thanks. Let me know."
I’m telling ya. There are certain products that I can’t let run out of stock, or they come after me with the pitch forks, including the Sprouted Buckwheat.
When these truly raw almonds are sprouted
professionally like this, they have such a unique texture and flavor. They have a crisp, less bitter taste, which I prefer over raw or roasted almonds.
Sprouted almonds are easier to digest due to reduced phytic acid, which boosts mineral absorption, while the sprouting process enhances nutrient bioavailability (like B vitamins and minerals) by breaking down complex compounds.
Sprouting
almonds also improves protein quality by making amino acids more digestible. It also deactivates enzyme inhibitors for a gentler impact on the stomach, and potentially increases antioxidants like polyphenols to fight inflammation. Plus, converting starches to sugars during germination slightly lowers carbs, possibly benefiting blood sugar control, all while maintaining almonds’ core nutritional value.
Dr.
Norman Walker who lived to be 100 years old, and who was the true father of juicing, wrote in his book "The Vegetarian Guide to Diet & Salad", "Nuts which have been cooked, roasted, or otherwise subjected to excessive heat, are harmful on account of the change which takes place in the fat under these conditions. The reaction on the liver and gall bladder is then detrimental and may sooner or later interfere with the complete and proper function of these
organs.
Our Almonds are Truly 100% Raw, with no heat, and no chemicals. As many of you know with the California Almond Pasteurization laws, most "raw" almonds available on the market today are actually pasteurized via a steam or chemical process. They may not be "roasted", but they are certainly cooked. This extra processing lowers the nutritional integrity of the nut, and also produces
a more harmful effect on the body.
I know these bad boys are expensive, but we've got the price down on special for only $18.95 each when you get a 3-pack.
