Hey Everyone,
It seems lately that one of
the biggest concerns that women have with plant phytohormones, is that they think it will make them fat.
Our Aguaje will actually do the opposite.
Let me explain how it works.
Aguaje will actually help women whether they have excess estrogen, or in menopause when estrogen drops significantly.
This
nutrient-rich Amazonian fruit provides phytohormones that gently bind to estrogen receptors. These compounds can support hormonal balance by competing with harmful 16α-hydroxyestrone in cases of estrogen excess, or by naturally filling the low estrogen gap during menopause.
First, let's discuss excess estrogen, which is one of the main causes of hormonal
mayhem.
Factors that increase estrogen include obesity or excess fat, xenoestrogens (like BPA), chronic stress, poor diet, and a sedentary lifestyle.
Aging also increases estrogen levels. In women, this is particularly evident during perimenopause, when reduced liver function, changes in hormone production, and decreased detoxification capacity contribute to the shift.
This excess estrogen goes to the liver and
gets transformed into various metabolites.
The two main metabolites that Estrogen is converted to in the liver is:
2-hydroxyestrone (beneficial to the human body)
16α-hydroxyestrone (harmful to the human body)
60-70% of estrogen is converted to 2-hydroxyestrone, and 20-30% of estrogen is converted to
16α-hydroxyestrone.
After estrogen converts into these two estrogen metabolites, the 2-hydroxyestrone creates beneficial reactions, and the 16α-hydroxyestrone causes chaos in the body. If you have excess estrogen you will create more of the harmful 16α-hydroxyestrone.
So this harmful 16α-hydroxyestrone compound binds strongly to estrogen receptors, amplifying
estrogen signaling. This can promote fat storage in estrogen-sensitive tissues in the breasts hips and thighs by enhancing lipogenesis (fat synthesis) and increasing fat cell size, especially in conditions like estrogen dominance (common in PMS and PCOS).
So the plant phytohormones from Aguaje bind to estrogen receptors with lower potency than human estrogen (estradiol) or the harmful
metabolites like 16α-hydroxyestrone. They compete with these stronger estrogens, reducing overstimulation that could promote fat storage in tissue. Therefore, Aguaje’s weak binding stabilizes estrogen signaling without driving fat accumulation. Instead, Aguaje may balance hormones, potentially reducing estrogen-driven fat storage and bloating, helping women maintain a leaner figure.
Aguaje can also
help men with excess estrogen in the same way from aging, excess fat, BPA, etc, but the effects are subtle due to fewer receptors in men but not negligible.
Our Aguaje is also extremely beneficial for women undergoing menopause, when estrogen drops significantly.
Aguaje weakly mimics estrogen, binding to estrogen receptors and beneficially filling the low estrogen gap, which may
ease symptoms like hot flashes, bloating, and hormonal imbalances. In this low-estrogen state, Aguaje’s gentle phytoestrogens help restore balance without overstimulation - supporting lean body composition and helping women feel more hormonally stable and comfortable.
With Aguaje’s plethora of bio-active nutrients, along with its phytoestrogens, which mimics estrogen weakly, it may support vaginal
moisture, elasticity, and blood flow, especially in menopause.
The beauty of Aguaje, is that it gives us a better and healthier option compared to soy.
Aguaje’s gentle phytoestrogens (beta-sitosterol) outshine soy’s potent isoflavones (genistein, daidzein), which can overstimulate estrogen receptors and may even promote slight weight
gain in some women. By weakly binding to receptors and supporting metabolism with its abundance of nutrients (vitamins A and C, etc), aguaje balances hormones without the fat-storage risks of soy, making it the Amazonian choice for women’s health.
After all, in Amazonian cultures, aguaje is called the “fruit of beauty”, and it gently binds to estrogen receptors unlike
the harmful 16α-hydroxyestrone and the potent isoflavones from soy.
This month, we've got our Aguaje at the most epic ‘At-Cost’ price yet.
I ordered way more of the Aguaje this time around. Therefore, I'm moving the first portion of them out, at a one time offer for only $18.95 each when you get a 3-pack. Additionally, I added a 12-pack to where
you can get each bag for only $16.95 each. On top of that, if you use the Rawfood15 14.5% discount, I guess that brings it all the way down to $16.20 each for 3, and $14.49 each for 12!
It’s remarkable how Amazonian cultures have long recognized aguaje’s medicinal benefits, well before scientific validation. A clinical study here, highlights that Aguaje’s phytohormones significantly improve estrogen-deficiency symptoms in menopause and PMS. These phytohormones may alleviate menopausal discomfort and contain compounds with osteogenic effects, promoting bone formation and supporting women’s health.
Here is a testimonial that I got from a customer who tried it for
her menopause symptoms.
Cindy writes:
"I do not write companies with praise for a simple reason: idealistically I believe a business should sell a product that performs. I expect to receive what I pay for. I am a single, working mom and there is no spare change. However, I skeptically tried your aguaje powder because I was having up to ten hot flashes a day. I put 2 teaspoons in a cold pressed juice daily. Within 3 days my hot flashes diminished
to 3-4 a day. Now, one month into the regimen, I experience no hot flashes at all. There is no doubt about my menopausal stage I have not had a period for 18 months. I just reordered the powder at cost. Thank you for doing the research for your customers and bringing us products that bring relief without the harmful effects of pharmaceuticals. Id have never gone the typical gynecological route of synthetic hormones. What a gift that I do not have to risk my health to feel the relief of
uncomfortable symptoms."

For PMS, that study above concluded that Aguaje may be useful for reducing anxiety related to PMS. Many parameters from physical to mental improved. Water retention, poor concentration, discomfort of the upper body, cold sweats, headaches, reduced motor coordination, feelings of suffocation, and so much more during the menstrual period significantly
improved by Aguaje versus the placebo group.
Aguaje is such a gift! It is simply just a fruit from Peru, which is safe with zero side effects. It's just pure nourishment.
If you have excess estrogen from aging, xenoestrogens (like BPA), chronic stress, excess fat, poor diet, or a sedentary lifestyle, or if you have menopausal symptoms that cause thinning of
the bones, vaginal dryness, night sweats, hot flashes, and loss of sexual desire, you may benefit greatly from the phytohormones in Aquaje.
Many of the men in Peru also consume the Aguaje fruit for all of its health benefits.
Aguaje contains 5 to 8 times more beta-carotene than carrots. This makes it the most concentrated natural plant source of beta-carotene in the world. It is also
loaded with Vitamin E, Vitamin C and has a decent amount of protein. It's high in minerals, including calcium, Magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, chromium, Manganese, and even a little bit of selenium and iodine.
At the clinical study here, it gives an
incredible breakdown of its nutritional profile and health benefits. The study states, "The main bioactive compounds reported to buriti (Aguaje) were carotenoids, tocopherols, ascorbic acid, phenolic compounds, fiber, phytosterols, and mono- and poly-unsaturated fatty acids. These compounds were mainly related to antioxidant, hypo-lipemiant (lowering cholesterol), photoprotector, anti-aggregant (preventing blood clots), anti-thrombotic (preventing and treating blood clots),
anti-inflammatory, hypo-glycemiant, antimicrobial, and anti-tumor activities."
It's also loaded with flavonoids, including quercetin, it contains lutein, and so much more. This study above breaks it down beautifully into charts and all.
As seen at that study above, beyond hormone balance, Aguaje’s beta-carotene, vitamins, and bioactives boost heart health, fight inflammation, protect skin, and may lower cancer risk,
making it a true superfood for men and women alike.
Aguaje is part of the staple diet of millions of people in the Amazon regions of Peru. They consume this fruit daily, both men and women. The natives there call Aguaje the 'Tree of Life', because of its many health benefits. You will find street sellers on every corner juicing this fruit, and offering it whole. The children just love to munch on this crisp, neon
yellow palm fruit, which is covered in these maroon scales.
